하지만 그 환상이 가지는 현실과의 괴리는 우리가 사는 곳이 별들의 도시가 아닌, 그저 우리가 불을 밝힌 우리의 도시라는 걸 너무도 슬프게 알려주는 것 같다. 어쩌면 라라랜드는 도시의 불빛과 별빛 사이, 그 사이에서 잠시동안 별빛에만 의존해 춤을 췄던 사람들의 이야기가 아닐까.
